In the Meanwhile

Hi whoever,

So I haven't posted anything in several months. The summer was jampacked with activites, and this is the first legitimate break since school has begun. In between the previous and this post, my friends and I have made several scrumptious treats.

Just to give you an idea: Scones (for mothers' day), Chocolate Chip Cookies, Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins (always a favorite), 4 birthday cakes and more chocolate chip cookies, cat and fish cupcakes (for my mother's birthday), Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars (for the Cookie Exchange I set up through the Cooking Club at school), 2 batches of Red Velvet Cupcakes with my good friend, and just today I made another batch of Chocolate Chip cookies.

As you can see, I've been keeping up the baking! It's always been a great way to relieve the stresses of being a teenager. Below I've attached a few pictures of this escapades :)

Happy Holidays!

LOTS and LOTS of COOKIES :)

hii!

So Sunday night I spent 4 hours making a bajillion types of different cookies. Well actually, only sugar, chocolate chip, dark and white chocolate, dark chocolate and pecan, Reeses, and Butterfinger. I must say, the butterfinger and the dark chocolate and pecan are my favorites by far

In the beginning I used too much butter in the batter, so the cookie batter ended up going over the edge and falling in the oven. So, it created tons of smoke.... almost setting of the fire alarm. Besides that, these cookies were really good. Really thin, but soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside.

My mom thought maybe that could be a new cookie industry... idk

well, that's it for now!

Red Deliciousness

YAYAYAYAY!!! FINALLY i made red velvet cupcakes! with delicious homemade cream cheese frosting!

Who knew you put vinegar into these god-sent treats? I didn't... that for suree. After three runs to the grocery store for the proper things, I finally was able to make them! WOO HOO! and they are amazing! I might even say more delicious than TeaCake's red velvet cupcakes, which are incredibly hard to beat.

My cat loved the better apparently too....

And this is the finished product:

Delicious-looking.. i know i know:)

I was finally able to upload my chocolate oreo cups i made when i made the homemade resses back in February! Check them out!

Peace outt

Nothing New This Weekend, all Term Paper and Golf

To whoever reads this,

Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to make cookies, or whoopie pies, or delicious red velvet cupcakes that I was hoping to make. I have spent the time instead working on my oh so fabulous term paper, which is about rice. At least I am able to express my love of food somehow :P! I did shoot an 89 this weekend, which is a new record for me! Those have been the highlights of my weekend. I really really hope I can make something next weekend!!

p.s. I will upload the reeses and oreo photos as soon as I take them!

Homemade Reeses

hiii :) so this is my first blogger thingy. anywhoo. i made homemade reeses this weekend, and they were delish! i froze peanut butter in a heart shapped ice-cube mold for a week, than put those frozen hearts in a mini-cupcake pan on top of wax paper. Then, I poured melted chocolate on top of that. they were soo good. i'll upload a pic of this fabulous creation just as soon as I take one.
